10 + 10 + 10 = 30
10 + 4 + 4 = 18
4 - (1 + 1) = 2
1 + 4 + 10 = 15

Fuckkkk mistake on line 3, should be

4 - (1.5 + 1.5) = 1
1.5 + 4 + 10 = 15.5

That’s 3 apples not 30, retard

Impossible. You can’t extrapolate the value of an apple with no leaf in line 2

apple + apple + apple = 30
A + A + A = 10
A = 30/3 = 10
apple + banana + banana = 18
10 + B + B = 18
B = (18 - 10)/2 = 4
Banana - Coconuts = 1
B - 2C = 1
C = 4 - 1 = 3/2 = 1.5
Coconut + Apple + Banana = ??
C + A + B = ??
1.5 + 10 + 4 = 15.5

Apple with leaf = 10
Apple without leaf = 8
Banana bundle(4) = 5 (4 Bananas + stem)
Coconuts = 4
Coconut = 2
Banana bundle (3) = 4

Coconut + Apple with leaf + Banan bundle(3) = 14

10+10+10=30
8+5+5=18
5-4=1
2+8+4=14

There are 7 variables and only 4 independent equations. This system is underdetermined.

On the 4th line, there are 3 bananas depicted not 4. The right answer is 14.5

except the apples have leaves sometimes. you can't answer the question in a logical way.

This is true, on second glance--this question is unsolvable due to the apple w/o leaf. There are 2 unknown variables in the 2nd line.

>>12069447
This process doesn't follow, you can't figure out the value of the apple w/o the stem, as a result you can't use subsition to find the bananas value (you just assume it's value is 5). Also, why do the bananas on the 2nd line have a value of 5 compared to a value of 4 on the 3rd line? Both are depicted including a stem. And the apple on the 4th line has a leaf, it's value would be 10 not 8.

3x = 30
x + 2y = 18
y - z = 1

x = 10
y = (18 - x)/2 = 4
z = y - 1 = 3

x + y + z = 17

What about the coconuts too. Are they 1.5?

Apples on line 1 have leaves. Apples on line 2 don't. So you can't use x on line 2.

>> No.12072146

>>12070040
The last banana bundle has only 3 bananas, a banana = 1, a stem =1, thus 4.

>> No.12072151

0

>> No.12072155

>>12070037
You get it from the idea that everything must be a whole number. It is the only thing that fits.

If the banana bundle = 4, then that would mean the coconut slices msut total to 3. A slice of coconut = 1.5, is not a whole number, so we are forced to assume apple without leaf is 8 to make it whole.
