Correct me if Im wrong, but don't they just measure mass based on shit flying infront of stars. Couldn't there be a shit ton of stuff that is not being illuminated by stars. Like entire galaxies of black holes that we cant see? Or a bunch of planets and objectes that are not in solar systems. Or a bunch of stuff thats just floating around in between galaxies?
