since a lot of wireless tecnology gets fucked up by things using the same type (infared, radio, ect) why hasn't any company tried using gamma rays so they don't get any interference?

theres not THAT high of a risk though is there?

>You wouldn't download bread

Yes I would, and you would ensure that I would be paying you for the download if it were possible.

Damn, dese businessfags.

I lol'd at the OP's pic pretty hard.
But yeah, you don't want to use a lot of high energy radiation around people. It fucks your shit up.

apart from the obvious, gamma rays have no where near the range of longer radio waves

brown bread?

>> No.1198722

>>1198714
why not? also since they have a short range, why would a gamma ray burst kill us?

>> No.1198741

Once we develop a cure for cancer, yes, we will start using this shit

I would so download bread, OP. Just saying.

OP logic:
since knives are short range, they cant kill us.

>> No.1199247

ionospheric propagation would be poor (well non-existant) cancer would be everywhere and the wavelength is too short and has too much energy to be properly modulated with todays circuitry (although it can be easily done, just nobody wants too)

Protip: Gamma radiation is extremely hard to interact with in a meaningful manner

look up scintillation

protip: ionizing radiation fucks you up real good.
That, and I'm pretty sure visible light would be more efficient than gamma rays for communications.
