We already know that some arthropoda developed the ability to live on land before chordata did. Considering the fact that evolutionary changes are small and the likelihood of a big positive change becomes increasingly small, what pressures could have caused a fish to develop organs suited for survival in air if 1. leaving the water did not diminish the likelihood of you getting predated and 2. the organs were likely not advantageous under water.

Fuck off the other ""posts"" are just shitposts that these worthless jannies do nothing about, it's not serious /sci/ discussion and it's posted everyday.

>1. leaving the water did not diminish the likelihood of you getting predated

It did diminished the likelihood of getting predated by sea predators, that is more than obvious since sea creatures still do that until this day, yet people like you keep fucking wondering why they did it. It's all so fucking tiresome.

Still cuck to run multiple threads. It's like the cucks that reply "based" to their own posts and act like nobody knows they're doing that.

He was an evil, cursed being. He was also a super genius. He discovered the true meaning of life and the universe, but it wasn't pretty. He knew about civilization and how fire was a requirement. Since he was cursed with such large intellegence, he knew everything, even the grim truth that even we don't know yet. He was mad at life, at the universe. Instead of offing himself, he decided to take revenge by destroying many more lives. He walked onto land knowing the intelligence it would bring, and with intellegence comes the loss of nature and degeneracy. He laughs in his grave when he sees oceans and forests polluted, seeing all the species going extinct every day, seeing the slow degeneration of society. His true last laugh will be when we too, discover the truth that he knew all along. That would lead to the most despair, most devastation and destruction ever. His descendants would be played like pawns, playing into the wishes of the one who caused them so much suffering

How does something like apoptosis develop by random mutations? Death is literally the worst thing that can happen to a life form. Apoptosis is highly complex and is only beneficial to the multicellular life form, so how did it evolve?
