Why are people attracted to drawings?
pictures are atleast realistic and mirror what is attractive in real life, but why do semi-abstract humanlike figures still work to achieve arousal?

Not an answer but just a thoight that i had. I think the reason why autists love anime is because of the exaggerated facial expressions the characters tend to have. I think it's because autists find it easier to read the characters emotions when their facial expressions are really obvious and over the top. What are your thoughts?
