Hello /Sci/ Im a college dropout that's currently working at a Verizon owned warehouse. The facility I'm working at is 750,000 square feet. Could you guys help me figure out the perimeter so i can figure out how many miles I'm walking per shift? I usually make 4 rounds a day.

if we assume your building is rougly the shape of a circle then its this

if on the other hand we assume its a rectangle with one side twice the other, then we get this. so the perimeter is roughly 3k-4k feet

1. Use a mobile phone app to measure distances, measure each leg of our walk and add them up.
or
2. Go to google maps, zoom in on your building in satellite view, and trace the approximate distance on top of the building using their measurement tool.

Similar to 2. from >>11915123, you should be able to find the dimensions of the building on the town assessors website to get the length and width of the building footprint.

What if it's a fractal warehouse? the perimeter could be infinite.

Assume circle, since every rectangle is equivalent to circle with infinite ideration.
