The big bang does NOT say "the universe came from nothing". This is something that scientists with atheistic leanings posit. It is not intrinsic at all to the big bang theory and anyone telling you it is, is lying to you about the theory.

Only 4 dimensional spaces mathematically have an infinite amount of unique manifolds.
All other dimensions have strictly finite amount of unique manifolds.
Reality mathematically has to be 4 dimensional. That's why spacetime is a four dimensional manifold - it literally has to be.
