Nope. Law works because of game theory, i.e. mathematics. It doesn't matter if the first person to come up with "murder is bad" was a schizophrenic on a mushroom trip, the thing that makes law real is math. Same with economics; economics works with hard mathematical laws. The people who first explored this areas used the wrong tools; they were right but for the wrong reason.

This is a great example of how psychology is a pseudoscience. If society were to evolve again from scratch, would the ego even be a concept, even if it has a different name? Of course not. It's one of the ideas of one guy that happened to become quite popular, but can't be proven or disprove in anyway because it's basically just fiction. Psychology is as made up as religion, and it wouldn't develop to reach the same conclusions in a different instance of civilization.
