i would like your meme if it weren’t for the “muh jooz” crap. the problem was mostly trump and just because he is a big pro-netanyahu pusher isn’t the issue. most MAGA supporters are not fundies who think we need to support israel; to the contrary his base seems to be more on the “muh confederate flag is so great, muh minorities and jews are the enemy” and accusing his base of being pro-jews is basically /pol/-tier conspiracy theory stuff.

but anyway this whole crap about “TESTING BAD” is ridiculous. anyone who argues that testing is bad is an ostrich. and the fact that cases are going up the way they are is a clear demonstration of how the US response has been really shitty even if you put on your most rose-tinted glasses

It’s not just Trump it’s an anti-science mentality and a lack of trust in the media.
The governor of Kentucky didn’t even know there was a two week incubation period. People vote in scientifically illiterate nitwits cuz they have the right letter next to their name and this is the result.

Your fault.
Instead of forcing a heavy lockdown for 2 months and make everything okay, you now get a shitty long wave of 6 months.

>deaths continue to go down.
Do we have an immune system or something? Or do the non airtight masks and 6 foot rule negate the Coriolis effect after all? At this point I would rather have an "exit bag" then deal with yet another virus popularity contest. Can we just come to an agreement and admit that this virus wins and be done with the shenanigans?

Surgeries that were pushed back from March and April are occurring now - that explains "hospitalizations"

Also, the strategy was to flatten the curve, then open businesses. Not stay indoors until the virus is gone. We simply didn't want hospitals to be over capacity. We succeeded since elective surgeries are happening now.

A month on average or a month as the extreme upper limit?
