The only reality is an evidence-based reality, right?

Less-and-less people seem to be believing it. Which is staggering, since people weren't prone to believing evidence-based anything to begin with.

What's your evidence for there only being an evidence based reality? (srs)
Also I did a report on hedgehogs as a young lad and you just took me back, many thanks chief

>What's your evidence for there only being an evidence based reality?
You can literally walk around and interact with the word around you.
>knock on a tree
>pick up a rock and drop
>fondle the milkman
Boom, evidence.

That certainly seems to be what the available evidence points to.

No you can't. You can have thoughts that you view as you interacting with the world.

Okay, but that's related to perception, not reality.

What is reality? How do you plan to make any justified claims about reality without using perception?

>What is reality?
Things which exist and take place, as opposed to ones that are imagined, or simply the idea of.
>How do you plan to make any justified claims about reality without using perception?
That's literally what science (largely) is about: proving what is and isn't there. Also, your question is still in regards to perception than it is about reality. The perception of reality, instead of actual reality.

How does science prove anything?
>The perception of reality, instead of actual reality.
Name things true about reality instead of true about your perception of reality. How do yoy know those things are true?

>How does science prove anything?
Constant testing.

>Name things true about reality instead of true about your perception of reality. How do yoy know those things are true?
We don't, we can only keep improving the correlation between our understanding and our perception.
