Why can't most STEM careers into proper math?

You don’t know anything about black matter do you OP.

do tell what is proper math

I think pure mathematical logic is something which is consistently redefined by mathematicians and physicists alike. There needs to be some way to circumvent the incorrect results. That's the difference between the purity of mathematics and the purity of physics. The purer the physics, the more hypothetical, the purer the mathematics, the more abiding with clearly defined mathematical laws. Discoveries in theoretical physics also rely on new concepts rather than on mathematical laws.
The comic doesn't really add up. In physics things such as the "Dark number" are used in entirely new fields, not arithmetic, which has existed for millenia.

One word: incompleteness. Logic is a dead field

Why did this happen when there is much yet to be discovered?

A property of any consistent formal system is that there is a formula which is not derivable from this formal system.

Your fancy logical reasoning will never ever derive certain true formulas, so what's the point? It seems like a waste of time. Perhaps there are more true formulas in a given consistent formal logical system than there are formulas derived from it.

I know it's oppressed as a good STEM kneeler.
