I am a Computer Science and I do advanced math like eigendecomposition of matrices to find principal components and use generating functions to find the complexity of algorithms and Fourier transforms to make my recorded online rants less noisy

You *would* do generating functions in CS since they have direct relevance almost everywhere, but most programs in (undergrad) CS are horseshit.

Nah there’s a lot of rigorous CS out there. If you read about the use of 2-categories in CS then you know it’s legit.
The problem is that undergrads in the US don’t touch it because they want to be software kiddies
