How genetic IQ is? And is IQ a good measure to success in life?

>> No.11764983

No because people get butthurt that you learn faster than them and friends become emsad enemies. Everyone wants to be smrt but not everyone is.

Considering having a brain is up to genetics, I'll say it's a big factor.

Considering feral children appear to be as intelligent as any other great ape, I'll also say that it's also partly about how you're raised.

You don't need to be intelligent to win a lottery, strike oil or inherit money.

>How genetic IQ is?
Correlation quotient between the identical twins is 0.85. So mostly genetic if we do not count malnutrition and lack of education
>And is IQ a good measure to success in life?
Works almost perfectly until the IQ of 110. If you are dumber than average than your wealth and social status decreases the dumber you are. But if you are atleast slighly better than average, IQ becomes irrelevant. You can be 150 IQ but still be worse in eveything than 105 IQ

This is wrong. The 150 iq will likely be right while the 105 thinks they aren't wrong. Sorry to burst your bubble kid.

OP's question was about success. So how your statement is relevant here?

>> No.11765066

>>11765060
Seriously? The only case where being right and better doesn't correlate to success is when you're working with egotistical midwits

>> No.11765078

>>11765066
>egotistical midwits
So like 90% of population?

>> No.11765085

>>11765078
Omg you're so right. Shit man I can't believe that I didn't think of that. Shit ... by ny chance do you think you're 105 iq? Because I think you're selling yourself short

>> No.11765114

>>11765085
Yes, how did you know I have 105 IQ?

>> No.11765253

>>11764904
There is no IQ-gene. You know why? Because even nature isn't stupid enough to quantify something as complex as human intelligence by a single number developed by dumbass psychologists of all people. Had physicists developed it, it would be a different story though.
