ok so it seems like he never proved those two sums add converge to -1 and 0, instead relying on Euler's Identity for that. he only does they are convergent. but if he's using Euler's Identity, why not just use it clearly, this paper would be two lines

There are two 25% options ( A and D) so the probability of picking the right option (the one which the examiner marked as the “right” one) is 50%
