You saved and reposted a failed transparent png of Kyoko.

I don't even care about your original premise OP, I just want you to be punished for your crimes.

I'm sorry anon I thought she was transparent I didn't check

It's a PNG, someone had to have to be done this on purpose. Whoever you are, bravo master baiter.

What was your thesis on, anon? I'm interested in eventually doing my undergrad thesis in theoretical physics as well, but I'm still a dumbfuck first year. Tell me about it :^)

I think he's laughing because you're celebrating an undergrad when the real accomplishment, at least in his eyes, will be when you do the same with your grad work and haven't killed yourself by the time you finish.

Nice.

I'm handing in my masters thesis in theoretical/computational chemstry in 6 days. Almost done.

It was about taking final state observables from particle collisions and implementing the numerical integration code to evaluate the probabilities of their values indicating particular particle jet distributions, as well as carrying out some variable transformations on a relevant function to remove it's integrate singularities so it could be evaluated with Monte Carlo. A lot of it was focused on the code implementation, but I still had to explain all the physical background too, most of which involved my professor telling me 'this is too complicated for an undergrad to understand'.

He just replied to me telling him I submitted it with 'in retrospect this was probably a bit over the top for an undergrad', but considering I've got through it anyway I'm taking that as a good thing.

It is.

Now start writing that paper with the professor.

I'd love to but I'm switching to computer science for my masters, gonna use the physics background to get myself in quantum computing/quantum algorithms

So? Publishing a paper is still a nice achievement that might help later.

oh, you mean what we have now? I asked about this, but before what we've done would be to a publishable standard there are still extra features in the code base we'd have to implement, which according to my professor we would had only ever had time to do if I had started this project in a summer placement the year before, which as you'd imagine no one ever told me. I at least got it to the point myself where only a minor amount of work has to be done to get it to that standard, which I think he's gonna end up doing himself over the next year in between his main work.

Ah, I assumed you had enough for a (small) paper.
