Is there any way to find out what color a specific element/particle would produce from rayleigh/mie scattering? Maybe a calculator or a java app?

Pic semi related.

That would require shaders that I don't have. I was hoping there was something already made so I can just put in some particle percentages and it would spit out some colors.

where would I get data for the energy of an atom?

Come on guys if I find this out and I can finally figure out the composition of atmospheres with specific colors.

You can't do this.

The human eye is not a diffraction grating. What you see as a colour is usually a combination of several different wavelengths.

Anyway, some information you are looking for can probably be found by reading Grotrian diagrams.

welp

thanks for the lead on the grotrian diagrams though
