Fuck your politics you brainlets. Here is the truth:

USA: 81k deaths from a population of 328M - 0.25% death.
Sweden: 3.2k deaths from a population of 10M - 0.32% death

Sweden is losing. Right? Well...

Fact: A 1% increase in unemployment increases mortality by 6%:

US unemployent now minus US unemployment pre-Corona = 14.7% - 3.5% = 11.2%.

Sweden unemployment now vs Sweden unemployment pre-Corona: 10% - 7.4% = 2.6% (this is actually an overestimate).

US death rate adjusted for unemployment: 0.41%

Sweden death rate adjusted for unemployment: 0.38%

So you played yourselves you fucking retards. GOOD JOB. QUARANTINE WAS A MISTAKE.

They also have a lot of social inhibitions on direct interaction that the US lacks.

You are aware that any relationship between unemployment and mortality can be alleviated by the government, especially in a time of crisis
Youre actually justifying being completely cucked by a government who will do the bare minimum to prevent catastrophe without any consideration to how people might survive

Facts are facts. If you want the government with a 10 inch dildo up your ass then I suggest you join some religious commune where everyone works, shares and takes care of each other. Because if you think you are going to convince over 50% of the population into spreading their assholes for daddy government then I have bad news for you. But you can freely join up with other ass spreaders and take dick in the mountains.

This article is complete crap conflating correlation and causation.

Who will be let go by an employer? A healthy, productive individual? Or someone with health problems reducing their output? Now which of these two is on average more likely to die first?

Laws literally don't let you do this so if it happens then it is a minority of cases that barely contribute to the total trend.

>Fact: A 1% increase in unemployment increases mortality by 6%:
Bullshit. Firstly, you didn't provide a credible source. Secondly, what does that even mean?

1) Over what period? If the unemployment spikes to 11% for a week and then returns to normal, surely that isn't the same as changing to 11% for several years.

2) Your source deliberate confuses correlation and causation, to the point that it's just useless. E.g. if Opiod addiction becomes prevalent in a community, and a bunch of people lose their jobs due to drug addition, and then a bunch of people die due to overdoses, your study will interpret that as unemployment causing death by overdose.

3)

>>11661319
Sweden doesn't have better health care than the US. Norway probably does, but Sweden doesn't have that sweet, sweet oil money.

>>11665463
Given your beliefs, in this example, wouldn't you consider the Swedes the cucks?

>>11665504
>Most welfare, even coronavirus welfare, goes to leeches.
If you're so concerned about "leeches", feel free to move to a place without a social safety net. Most people are willing to lose more than they get back, for more economic security.

>Or someone with health problems reducing their output?
>Laws literally don't let you do this so if it happens then it is a minority of cases that barely contribute to the total trend.
What? That's not remotely true. It's quite common for employers to lay off or fire sick people who can't perform the job. The employer pays someone to do a job. If they can't do the job, because they're in the hospital, or can't walk, or can't mentally focus, why would they be entitled to keep the job? They should find another job that you actually CAN perform.

3) All deaths aren't equal. E.g. a productive person dying of disease =/= a heroin addict that dies of drug overdose. If anything, the heroin addict probably harms the rest of society, because he doesn't generate tax revenue, or take care of his kids.
