So what do you think the UFO was? Any ideas?

I'd like to hear some rational hypothesis.
"It's aliens" is not a rational hypothesis. There's o reason to think that. There are literally millions of more likely explanations. If you don't understand that, Occam's razor... then you probably shouldn't be hanging out on /sci.

Whatever it is, its conventional human built craft/objects. Mick West pretty much debunks any notion of it being alien craft or some new sort of craft that breaks our understanding of physics.

-hoax (false/edited footage, hacked equipment programmed to create the hoax realtime)
-Insane hidden off the books government tech(US or foreign). All the planes we see around are production fighter planes. It would be easy to hide and develop some prototype tech.

Either of these are much more realistic. Think about it, if the aliens can do it, so can we. Why would we assume that aliens can break the known laws of physics (speed of light) than assume the government has some advanced propulsion technique ? It's complete absurdity

Good chance that's what it is.

I like that one. Another human, non-exotic option would be a drone that accepts beamed power from a sub or carrier's nuclear reactor. For a carrier it could use pulses from AESA radar, from a sub it'd need some kind of dedicated antenna.
>something like this but much smaller and dedicated to electronic warfare instead of nuclear deterrence

You don't need aliens to explain this, it's the more complicated explanation

The simpler explanation is this is IR glare from far away with a rotating lens flare

This is probably the most lame effort to debunk ufo videos I've ever seen. He's not even trying so he's obviously trying to capitalize on the hype for a few views. Yeah, let's believe the opinion of a youtuber faggot instead of trained pilots & radar operators who saw the thing first hand with their eyes and/or specialized instrumental lmao

You're just appealing to authority when his evidence and methodology is right in front of you. If you think he's said something foolish you can just point that out.

And pilots aren't trained on forensic analysis of aircraft on FLIR footage, what everyone can see on the videos is what they saw. Radar is susceptible to electronic warfare and impossible maneuvers aren't to be taken at face value.

>> No.11623531

So you are basically saying the pilots are deluded, their instruments failed and radar operators are also deluded and their instruments also failed, all at the same time, in three different occasions.

Apparently the US government is also into time travel now. Anything but aliens, guys! It can be anything, but surely it can't be aliens.

>So you are basically saying the pilots are deluded
This is easily proven since the pilot in the video says the object is rotating when it's the camera that's rotating. Are pilots infallible?

>their instruments failed
What instrument failure do you see?

>radar operators are also deluded
Which radar operators?

>their instruments also failed, all at the same time, in three different occasions.
It's not clear what you're referring to. The videos don't show radar.

>You tried so hard to be rational that you ended up sounding really retarded.
