Why is the proofs book before set theory? Shouldnt it be the other way around?

You learn naive set theory in introductory proof books so that you can start doing mathematics by talking about set inclusion, subsets, etc.. However, a full and proper treatment of set theory goes beyond introductory use and motivation that you'll end up confusing yourself before you hit other topics. Set theory (and other logic topics, such as ZFC, type theories, recursion theory, model theory, etc.) are all fascinating subjects, but you don't want to dive deep into those before experience basic algebra and analysis, at least in my opinion.

Why even listen to these infographics? Do you really know how bored you'd be if you actually followed that reading list? There's a reason 98% of math programs don't offer anything in the foundations.

Without logic you cannot do much with set theory.
Or have you got the feeling that you know enough about set theory already, and you should be able to deal with it comfortably without understanding logic and proofs?
Your first name is not Norman, is it?

Imagine doing all that just to get to calculus.
Reading lists are a meme.

yes but you don't go through a full set theory book before an introductory proof book.

Calculus is baby math.
Why are you recommending all this BS filler anyway? Are you trying to kill people's interest in mathematics?

Ok, can anyone recommend serious reading for once ?
