I've been to Hong Kong and Singapore, which are diverse and feel like western countries, and both have citizens complaining about a loss of culture and heritage (sound familiar?). Also been to Hong Kong, also feels very western in a lot of ways, being overrun by mainlanders. The only other two on your list in the top 20 for wealth per capita are Japan and Isreal. Israel has an almost 20% Muslim population. Japan's the big exception, and they still have double the migrant workers of China despite having less than 20% of their population, not to mention a declining economy. Having a very old population makes Japan less accepting of change.
