>coronavirus causes permanent lung damage
>coronavirus causes (possibly permanent) brain damage

So what's the point? We surely have no hope against such an all-encompassing disease? Does anyone have any scientific reassurance that this isn't true? I can only see this ending with the collapse of society.

I dont want to fucking die at 23. And if society collapses then I WILL die. I'm weak, cowardly, have no physical or survival skills. I decided long ago that if law and order ever collapses I will kill myself to save myself the worst of the horrors.

Good, life is all about survivals of the fittest. If you can't survive then you lost.

Only in severe cases.

If you end up getting hospitalized or God forbid you get put on the vent, chances are you'll get permanent lung/other organs damage.

>> No.11542611

>>11542459
Survival of the fittest depends on the environment in question. Human society is so detached from nature that natural fitness doesn't truly map to social fitness anymore.

Which means that you will probably die too, as you're accustomed to social life, like it or not...unless you're some sort of /diy/-/k/-/fit/ schizo

Well if society collapses I hope you enjoy dying.
>Which means that you will probably die too
Ok, but i'd probably have a better chance at surviving that you because i'm not a weak, frail, twink with no survival skills.

Also

lmao
>calls people who are fit, can camp, and have survival skills "schizo's"
Now i'm convinced that you're just retarded since you think everyone is basically just a clone of you and can't survive without a bottle in their mouth. I hope society collapses so I can have the pleasure of knowing people like you would instantly die off.

The only time I recall reading this was from an anonymous source that seemed to contradict itself on very simple (as in high school biology education) matters.

I know 99% of everything on the internet about Corona is just tabloid fake news and pointing fingers at the WHO and China, but is there a valid source on this?

Why are you on 4chan? I thought this site was meant to be full of people like me, socially awkward autistic shut-ins who are either skelly or fat and have no athletic skills to speak of. Why is 4chan suddenly now full of burly, weight-lifting, doomsday preppers with guns and hunting skills? I don't like this place anymore...

Believing conspiracy theories and unfounded truths causes worse brain damage and you still do it.
I'm not just talking about the anxiety you generate for yourself, but the long term consequences of this in your hippocampus and white matter.
Either you stop being a freaking schizo and look for treatment or you're doing much worse than corona will do your CNS.

I'm a brainlet. I read someone on /sci/ or /pol/ say "the virus causes permanent lung, brain and heart damage and it never leaves your body", and I have no choice but to believe them because I have no mental capacity to prove them wrong.

Help me.

They don't have the capacity to prove themselves right. They have the burden of proof on that claim, and it has not been demonstrated yet. An overwhelming majority of people are improving without reporting these symptoms, and if you look up most people recover well from pneumonia even if it takes a while.

A lot of it is cherry picking of a few freak cases in poorly explained newspaper articles (not even scientific papers).

You are putting yourself in a really vulnerable position by just believing anything anyone mildly confident says to you at face value.
