If no argument can get professors or scientists to leave their special language-cave space why is listening to their arguments important when a call to action is what we are asking for?

Their set of definitions for basic interactions and their specific subset of applications/affordances.

e.g. we can do X because but you're still learning Z-Lang

look up Vygotsky for information about why professors do this. If you feel like your education is moving too slow for you, go ahead and learn more on your own.

If you feel like it would be too hard to learn on your own, you should probably listen to your professors. No information is useless.
