Sup /sci/, I'm torn between doing a degree in biological science (most likely specializing in zoology) and a degree in environmental geoscience (pretty much geology) What do you think are the pros and cons of each one?

With environmental geosciences, you won't have to put up with evolutionism.

what's more interesting and exciting, being out in the wild studying animals, or being out in the wild staring at rocks?

Do Biology.

We have Secretary Birds and Foxes and AWESOMENESS.

Does enviromental geoscience have that? NO.

(also, you'll learn a little geology in ecology classes. Geology [among other things] determines the Plants which determine the Animals)

You're a lucky person.

I wish I had awesome things in my "yard" (well, I do have a shit ton of Great-tailed Grackles here; they're pretty cool).

Disappointed, because I thought OP wanted to play a nice game of Rock, Paper, Giraffe.

hm...
Rock > Paper
Paper > Giraffe?
Giraffe > Rock?

>> No.1133817

>>1133791
I would think that the giraffe would eat the paper, and you could possibly harm a giraffe by throwing a rock at it. Or would that just make it angry? Anyway, as I'm sure you know, paper normally beats rock, but the reasoning for that makes no sense, so it could go either way.

>>1133791
Rock kills giraffe, giraffe eats paper, paper still magically overpowers rock.
