I have been smoking pot since the age of 14. I am now 28. Even if I get clean and sober have I permanently fucked my brain? Is it still possible for me to go back to school and get a math + cs degree?

If you can do it, then you can most likely graduate as well. Contrary to popular /sci/ opinion, I think that brain is quite an adaptive organ and if you surround yourself in good environment where you're challenged, you will grow. I'm now full-time physicist employed in national lab. and just some odd years back I was doing menial labour in factory and didn't even have a high school diploma.

I smoked since 17, still do every day, im 27, I got my cs degree with a math minor while smoking EVERY DAY. I don't recommend it, I got shitty grades, but I got through and got a job. So if you quit you absolutely could do it

33 here, I've smoked every day since I was 15. I have two undergrad degrees and a M.Sc., and am gainfully employed. I probably fried quite a few IQ points before I hit adulthood, but as long as you had enough to spare like I did, you'll be fine.

You should probably kick your weed habit because weed kills motivation and makes you lazy but if your worried about having done irreparable damage to your brain my advice would be to not harp on it, i started smoking weed daily at 13 and in copious amounts too, i had extreme brain fog and lethargy for about a year after quitting and was fully convinced that i had brain damage, i had spent so much time lamenting the loss of my IQ points that i developed an inferiority complex, thereby killing any optimism i had about the future and creating a self fulfilling prophecy. With the amount of pot i smoked as a teen if it were true that weed had a neurotoxic affect on the brain i would be a vegetable, because i had to have set a world record for most amount of pot smoked in adolescence. Also I've taken several aptitude and cognitive battery tests since then and i have an IQ between 125 and 130.

You'd probably be fine for an undergrad degree if you really wanted it. Math in undergrad is about drive and focus, so you can't smoke a whole ton but your raw abilities should matter little.
Now for a phd, you're probably not looking too good. That's when people start getting intensely filtered.
