If a light bulb can turn electrons into photons it must also turn photons into electrons.

not if the lightbulb also absorbs anti-photons, which is how lightbulbs really work. they emit an amount of light equal to the amount of dark it absorbs.

The electrons moving through the filament come into contact with tungsten atoms causing them to vibrate. This vibration is in essence heat in the form of electromagnetic radiation. And that is what you see and feel from an incandescent bulb.

Jesus christ you're such a pseud, why do you come to /sci/ if you don't understand what you're talking about. Crystal growth increases entropy. To quote retards on SE:
>10

Indeed this is a handy counter example to people who, not understanding the second law, claim that evolution is impossible on the basis that entropy decreases (nevermind that by this misunderstanding life itself would be impossible as well). The growing crystal is not a closed system: it exchanges energy and matter with the surrounding environment, and this can lead to a local entropy decrease if it is compensated by an entropy increase of the environment. The thermodynamic potential that is truly minimized, taking these exchanges into account, is the free energy. (Note that there are slightly different definitions of the free energy which apply to slightly different types of process, but they are all morally the same.)

pseuds invariably can not define the word “adiabatic” and have no idea of the fact that certain processes are non-adiabatic. this stems from the fact that pseuds are innumerate and equations scare, but do not deter them

He might be, but he is right. Physics doesn't have a direction. Every physical interaction can happen both ways. LED's can emit light and produce electricity when you shine a light on it. A solar panel can produce light if you put a current through it. A motor will produce power if you turn it.

The only thing that gives time a direction is entropy. Which is the reason why a gasoline engine doesn't produce gasoline if you blow into its exhaust or broken coffee cups spontaneously repair if you throw it at the ground. It could physically happen, its just astronomically unlikely.

/sci/ is dumb as fuck.
