I've been studying for an upcoming medical entrance exam for 5 months now, give or take, I'm burnt out as hell

Is a one week break going to fix this? I'm scared of forgetting what I've learned (very unlikely though)
I just want the zest back that I had at the start when I started studying.

I've doing at least 2 hours a day, but now I've pretty much run out of things to do and I'm still a month from taking the exam and I've one practice exam left having done 14 already. I feel absolutely sick of it
Any advice my /sci/entists

No, but it will help temporarily.
>I'm scared of forgetting what I've learned (very unlikely though)
With a break that short you will derust completely in 1-2 days
>I just want the zest back that I had at the start when I started studying.
This will come back when you start learning actually interesting stuff again instead of grinding endless practice tests for an exam.

>This will come back when you start learning actually interesting stuff again instead of grinding endless practice tests for an exam.
Thing is I've nearly gone over everything I need for the test, I read over what I did wrong on practice tests thoroughly and then do drills to work on weaknesses. I just need to maintain what I know now, which means constantly going over stuff I've already learned. You can probably imagine how mind-numbing that is.

I'm planning to save the last practice test for near the exam so that the timing and layout is fresh in my mind but for another month basically I'll have to go over the same stuff in order to not forget it (or to appease my fear of forgetting it)

A break is probably a good idea, I just have to convince myself it's for the better and not feel guilty

If you're truly close to a burnout, you need _at least_ 2 weeks. 3 is better. Don't let yourself go, OP. You're worth it.

end your depression. You may feel a bit "wired" for a while as your body turns the excess dopamine into norepinephrine.

You'll get sick
Don't listen to this faggot rambling about copper, it's one single retard who tries to get people into poisoning themselves.

Copper is also required for the DAT transport, (causing the burnout feeling) and many other things. Without it your brain won't work.
The toxicity of copper is mostly a meme, it isn't toxic for birds and mammals except in gram amounts. As I wrote above, optimal concentration for pigs is 200-250 mg/kg feed. No way you could poison yourself, and copper tastes bitter in large amounts, so you just won't be able to consume it too much.

>Elevated DA levels were observed in all organs except the brain. For -Cu rats, the NE level was lower in the heart and the DA level was higher in both the heart and spleen compared with +Cu rats. Dopamine elevation in the heart and spleen for both -Cu mice and rats was four- and fivefold higher, respectively.

By contrast, copper levels were substantively decreased in all AD-brain regions, to 52.8-70.2% of corresponding control values, consistent with pan-cerebral copper deficiency. This copper deficiency could be pathogenic in AD, since levels are lowered to values approximating those in Menkes' disease, an X-linked recessive disorder where brain-copper deficiency is the accepted cause of severe brain damage. Our study reinforces others reporting deficient brain copper in AD, and indicates that interventions aimed at safely and effectively elevating brain copper could provide a new experimental-therapeutic approach.
