Why doesn't Australia pioneer the use of stratospheric aerosol injection to counteract global warming? The size and remoteness of the country make it an ideal candidate.

this was discussed at length at a scientific congressional hearing in like, 2007 or 2001. dont remember, but you can look it up. they talk about aerosols and a big argument against it is that you cannot control the dispersal and itll affect neighboring nations. if you had a league of nations in on it, you could do it without major backlash, especially if the non-league nations arent economically strong
