If the Big Crunch and subsequent Big Bang happens, and happens over and over again, and time is infinite, and the universe reuses all of its material, could my consciousness potentially reincarnate billions of years from my death?

It would be like the ending of Part 6 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. You would be a slightly different person with slightly different experiences

The big crunch will never happen because the universe is constantly out-expanding the rate at which it could ever hope to collapse again. Prepare for the Big Dissipation as entropy has it's way.

depends on whether or not there is a quantum element to the brain, but even if not, so long as the new universe has the same laws of physics, the quantum states that constitute you will probably be recreated at some point

Considering nobody has properly modelled what consciousness really is, your guess is as good as anyone’s in this place.

"big crunch" as it was previously thought in possible but the expansion of the universe could still result in the same thing basically (conformal cyclic cosmology)

The likelihood of the atoms which make your form arranging in exactly the same manner ever again are slim to none.

Not if the big bangs keep going on infinitely as the OP assumed.

Yes. And since time isn't registered without consciousness, you will die and then randomly just wake up wherever the odds place you.

You're invincible, anon. It's inevitable that the exact patterns which forms you will form again.

Nah. 4 years, 300km. Give or take.

Better questions - where do all the new consciousness come from? Are they "blank" souls? Do all humans get souls?

entropy is in conflict with cyclic cosmologies, so they are unlikely to be true

Under the OP's scenario of unending cyclical cosmology, the probability is 100%.

That one of them manifests OP, which is this current one. If there are infinite universes, there might be infinite variations of it. Why would there be two repeat variations. Op has used his variant.

no.

you live in unison with god and your past loved ones.

what happens to the universe is irrelevant because of this.

Yes, because the boundary conditions place on your mind are satisfied. However, you're wrong that the Big Crunch happens, because astronomical measurements confirm that the universe is expanding at an accelerated rate. But if the universe is indeed infinite in size, then according to the "infinite monkey typewriter" theorem, the boundary conditions place on your mind are constant being met, and you are being constantly "transported" across the universe quadrillions or even zillions of lighters away without your even realizing it. For each time you look up at the stars at night, you ask "how can that be?"...well if the universe is infinity in size, there's an observer, just like you, conscious of the same stuff you are, and looking up at a sky that looks just like that one you are looking at. So that observer also becomes you.....because there's no conscious distinction between that observer and you.
