what are some fields in biology except for marine bio and ecology that involve fieldwork? Would zoology be good for both research and some basic lab/industry plan B if everything went wrong?
Also, is there a profession that involves sampling? like getting paid for sampling for other scientists around the world?

i don't want to study something i don't like, but i also would like to work someday, you know. i don't care about getting rich, doing a PhD and staying in academia/private lab or something sounds good to me, i wouldn't mind moving out for it too.
