So when an atom receives an abundance of energy the electrons jump to a higher orbit, however that orbit is unstable and the electron jumps back down, shedding a photon due to conservation of energy. This is why hot or excited atoms give off light.
As you've stated, they are very small and this process happens at light speed.

However galaxies are large and our speeds are slower, and equivalently our sun jumps orbits, only at a much slower speed. Dare I say, a noticeable speed with the human eye.

Than this is the prediction. Atoms are essentially galaxies. They might be slightly different, mayeb that reality scale is not perfectly repeated, but they are essentially what we think of as galaxies. Again, if you accept the 3 very reasonable premises then this almost certainly is the case. The only real barrier is peoples disbelief at how completely bonkers is sounds, but again, Darwin faced the same disbelief, and so did germ theory, and even helocentricism.

What they hadnt figured out is that because speed of light is constant in all reference frames, that time actually accellerates at quantum levels because all time is is the movement of energy through space bounded to light speed. Electrons appear to jump around because they are actually operating in a faster time scale that cannot even be measured from within our slower time scale, think of it like camera shutter speed.

This idea of accellerating and slowing time is incredibly easy to visualize. A 5 year old would understand the concept. The trouble you all might be having is not looking at the Universe as it truly is. When you observe the Galaxies through a telescope, they are spin so slowly. It takes millions of years for a rotation. This is because lightspeed is the constant universal speed limit, it is the CONVERSION FACTOR between different scales. Now, because the distances are SMALLER at atomic scale but light speed is THE SAME than things can happen FASTER. Now, ALL THAT TIME IS is the movement of energy through space, so when things are happening faster than TIME is LITERALLY faster.

Think of it another way, if we assert that atoms are galaxies, and we imagine a wrist watch made from galaxy atoms (Gatoms), then 1 second on that watch would take, say, 1 trillion years, because of how slowly galaxies move.

Similarly, if we imagine a small you inside of an atom, then your watch would register 1 second 1 trillion times faster than normal sized you, because of how fast subatomic particles move.
