The problem with the SAT

I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent individual. Quite frankly, I find that the SAT is very archaic and an inaccurate way of gauging not only mine, but millions of students' capabilities. I propose that we abolish the SAT as I find that it hurts more than it helps. For reference, I got a 930, but I know that I am much smarter than that score would seem to indicate.

there's some unique cases, I guess, myself included (tested for IQ with the WAIS-IV at 22, got a 138, but only got a 1160 on the SAT).

I also have ADHD and literally didn't learn algebra 2 until I went to community college. I'm studying Math at uni, now.

I got 1450 without any preparation whatsoever. I mean I only heard that it existed a month before I took it, because I was international.
While it is a terrible measure of intelligence, it is a good abstraction: people who get high scores are generally smart, and people who get below 1200 are complete fucking dumbfucks, and it being around the average result says a lot about Americans

I can't fathom how this is even possible unless you decided to shitpost on the test and chose a random bubble for every question. Even then, this is literally a bit lower than the expected score of guessing the whole test, so you'd have to get unlucky too.

European math undergraduate here, I just read some math SAT questions and it seems extremely easy, it's also seem to be very easy to study specifically for these kind of questions. Is it hard because of the time pressure? It seems like I could solve these problems when I was 12 years old.
