Why wouldn't you do it by year? Don't you have to file annual tax returns? By week is meaningless considering that not everyone makes the same amount of money on a weekly basis. A contractor could only work 20 hours one week and then work 60 the next. His weekly income would vary.

Anesthesiologists do not use NO2. This is not a dentist's office. They use serious narcotics that can kill people if not properly administered. And most of the time the general anesthetics shut down people's lungs, so they have to be hooked up to a breathing machine. Anesthesia is one of the highest paying non-surgeon medical jobs out there. A surgeon can make even more money. A heart surgeon can easily make $500K, a brain surgeon can make $2 million. In demand plastic surgeons can make a lot more if they're set up in a place like California and own their own clinic.

"sociology" is also one of those degrees. The funny thing is that people who go through 2 year vocational institutes usually have a 95% or more employment rate rather than people who finish a bachelors or even a masters program. Of course the ones who are employed make less the fewer years of post-secondary edu they took but still it goes to show that education is a risky journey in choppy waters.
