Imagine being intelligent for a PhD in chemistry but yet so stupid enough that you you settle on what essentially are pharmacological placebos. Imagine not going for intranasal esketamine. Imagine not going for MAOIs. Imagine not going for superior anxiolytics. You are probably just some midwit who got pushed along into chemistry, your usual urban cases of depression of upper class, and a psychiatrist prescribed you run-of-the-mill crap to get you out of his face.

The lexapro has helped a lot. Luckily my psychosis is limited and not regular at this point, but that may get worse. I used to be on sertraline instead but that made me feel blunted and neutral all the time, no highs no lows. But yeah, I think at this point its necessary. I don't think it's just the stress of school either, I think it's just a problem I'll have to deal with well after I'm done with school.

I am trying to transfer out of community College for biology, and I have a lot of trouble focusing it was diagnosed as “pseudo dementia” caused by depression.

I tried methylphenidate but it causes shortness of breath at low doses, bupropion has unnoticeable effects.

Pramipexole seems to change my personality in a way I cannot describe.

I had my first visual hallucination of my entire life when I took a high dose of pramipexole 2.5mg/day.

I first jerked off and it caused intense chest pain and shortness of breath I had chest pain for hours following. Then I hallucinated and I thought I saw my cat in the hallway then I started searching for my cat which I had just seen walking about. My cat was sleeping in a closed room so I realized it must have been a hallucination

To this day, even after being off those meds for so long, I have never jacked off or wanted to fuck. Also, the lack of hunger or thirst led to malnutrition in my developmental years, so I'm only 5'11" despite a 6'2" father. You surely are intelligent enough to adhere to the dietary guidelines, and memorize its, then be leery of, existing contraindications. I find it peculiar that someone such as yourself would not research these drugs in depth, learning all you can about them from their mechanism of action, to chemical class, to research and uses. Stumbled on you guys tonight for first time. You guys are on a ton of meds. Seems to be mostly psych stuff too. Why?

Have only learned pharmacology in a bubble so far, they keep it very science-based at my school and don't really get into the clinical aspect of it. So haven't had a chance to talk to patients clinically regarding their experiences with psych meds yet.

That's unironically because you're constantly being inundate with nihilistic, globalist, SJW propaganda designed to undermine social norms, personal identity, and the notion of tradition, community, culture, etc. The Judeo-capitalist ideology that has been rapidly asserting itself as the dominant cultural paradigm is atomizing the individual and de-contextualizing their existence and identity by cutting the off from historically, culturally, and intersubjectively negotiated norms and patterns. The individual is progressively becoming more and more psychologically and historically isolated, thereby turning them into a Tabula Rasa to be filled with Judeo-capitalist ideology and an insatiable appetite for consumer goods, mindless pop-culture rubbish, and pharmaceuticals.

I always school was for the sake of learning, instead its a fucking diploma mill of motherfuckers cheating and using every loophole to their advantage to reach the top, it's not about learning anymore, legit the cause of my depression.

Anyone else feel like this or am I just being a little bitch?

No, that is exactly what I see it as. I can't even take upper level courses without going through lower level ones. I legit don't even care about the degree, I want to learn shit because that's directly applicable to future work, but I can't learn shit because of these ridiculous hoops that require taking 2-3 years of completely pointless classes that don't fucking matter.

Sounds like I should never go to college if I don't want to become an addict. Or is the American userbase bias creeping in?

I am a mathematician that used to be hooked on drugs, specifically alcohol and methamphetamine or cocaine, whichever.

I derived a lot of theorems and proved them myself long before I would ever read them.

Anyways, it got to the point that I got obsessed with math to an unhealthy degree. I stayed up for six days solving a single math problem. I am trying to remember the problem now. It was for a math competition, and yes, I won.

Anyways, drugs and science don't mix in the long run. A little alcohol every night or a blunt of pot a day isn't gonna kill you either though.
