I fucking wish. Things are pretty grim anon and we may be entering a new AI winter. Some labs doing reinforcement learning for robots are shutting down because it isn't working out. One problem you have is that the amount of training data you need to increase performance increases exponentially. For things like cat pictures, this is not much of a problem because there are billions of those. But for robots it's a hard problem because it's difficult to generate training data. Sure you can use simulation, but it's been found that training in a real lab environment just isn't enough to get general behaviors. Not to mention Moore's law is ending.
