Reading papers
Reading books from founders of modern science . Newton , fancais Ronalds, telsa, Maxwell, and many others. The only barrier to understand is matching old terms to modern terms.

My /sci/ related hobbies are
Electronics
Programming
Radio/modulation experiments
Chemistry *cough* for personal use *cough*

Honestly I don't even know how I ended up here. I used to just play videogames and watch porn all day but somehow over the last 5-10 years I've transformed into the typical boomer that just puts all his free time into his hobbies building custom electronics and writing obscure software solutions for things like emulators.

This isn't a problem if you regularly read literature from that era, pseud. Sage.
