Ate a bit of wrapper from a chocolate bar, about 1/2 inch on each side, how do I prevent brain damage from aluminum dissolving in the stomach acid and entering my blood

>> No.11173785

>>11173767
This is actually vary serious OP. Go to the ER and get your stomach pumped ASAP. Normally aluminum forms an oxide layer to prevent dissolution, but foil is thin and malleable enough to dissolve anyway. The longer you wait the more Al3+ will find their way into your brain.

man come on, it's probably that one paranoid schizophrenic poster and now he'll go apeshit over some foil lol

Nothing to worry about. Choking on it would be your worst worry, second would be blocking the digestive track. Actually worrying about your stomach acids magically dissolving it is not an issue.

Calm down. There is aluminum on soda cans, deodorants, and other stuff. People use it all the time. Unless you ate, like, 10 pounds of chocolate with their wrappers on, and even then you have more problems than aluminum.

Although possibly true, Al compounds are found in many things.

Anti-acid tablets contain AlOH and people down them every day in the millions.
Could this negatively affect them in the long run? Surely but they won't kill you.

When aluminium gets digested, hydrogen gas gets produced in the stomach. Just die yourself to a post and try to avoid floating away until you fart the gas out and float back to the surface.

Nah. He reportedly was a diet cola addict during his working years.

The same addiction gave the late Gene Siskel, the movie critic of Siskel & Ebert fame, an aggressive brain tumor.

In fact, not to be left out of things, Roger Ebert also contracted cancer and died. Not sure if it was from aspartame, but having to review all those crappy B-movies over the years prolly was a contributing factor...
