If proven I would spend my life studying the nature and origin of the simulation and the nature of the world and creature(s) that gave birth to it. Perhaps they are in a lower level simulation so I would strive to discover base reality.
It's impossible to prove or falsify such a thing however. It seems we are in base reality and this is an unfalsifiable thought experiment on par with Descartes' Meditations.

I once thought that the simulation wasn't keeping up with high speed flywheels and that this shortcoming was the cause of some physics anomalies that some people were reporting. However, by the time I started experimenting with flywheels myself, the simulation engine was upgraded and no anomalies could be found.

Is this the Matrix and all of humanity is in a single unified virtual world with physical bodies outside of it?
Or am I just a PC for some alien teenage asshole in a really immersive alien GTA-esque game or MMO?
Or are we just statistical noise in a random universe simulated in some lab? In which case my actions wouldn't change at all.
