If groups of humans were altered so that some of them had shorter pregnancies and/or grew up faster than the human baseline, what would be the major side effects to their physiology and/or psychology? What about if they were engineered so that they developed to fill maturity more slowly than normal? How would they be affected then?

I have asked this question too. I would guess that the fast growers would develop compulsion disorders due to being incapable mentally of handling the faster changes, while the slow growers would develop some kind of skeletal or musculature disorder.

I have to imagine something like this has been tested on rats or another type of animal, but I haven't found anything.

Fair point. I don't know about smarter/less aggressive, but look at the delayed/nonexistent puberties that are being induced in tranny kids. That hasn't been going on for too long, and I imagine/hope the numbers are too small for any proper study to be done, but it's clearly having physical effects on them. I don't doubt there's mental effects as well.

Slowing down a humans development won't make them smarter anymore than slowing down a chimp or a blacks development will make them human. Humans evolved to develop slower which allowed them to develop bigger brains. It's genetic and would have to be genetically engineered more than just slowing down development. It would also have to increase their brain size.

Yeah, unironically. But I have to first make myself immortal in order to do so, and euthanize and/or abort the defective ones so that we may not get overpopulated special education classrooms.
And as bad as this may sound, it is unironically the one and only course of action that one has to do with regards to genetic engineering humans given how costly it is to maintain someone with a genetic defect in comparison to someone who is healthy.
