Depends on your point of view.

Schrodinger's cat is a critique of the Copenhagen Interpretation. And once we're talking about quantum interpretations, we aren't really talking about facts, or even theories.
The interpretations are mostly about finding ways to think about physics when we have only limited knowledge about what's going on.
Schrodinger wasn't _really_ saying the cat is both alive and dead, instead he's criticizing Bohr and Heisenberg.
But it's really almost like arguing semantics, since there aren't any "right" or "wrong" answers, just ones that might help _you_ grasp what's going on.

This is why I hate these educational heuristics made by brainlets for brainlets. The first time I heard the "rule of three" I was baffled about why you needed a whole name and graphical representation to what is essentially manipulating [math] xy = ab [/math]. But the real problem is that these incomplete brainlet heuristics never generalize, so I don't even blame the person in that post. The graphical interpretation completely removes the algebraic structure so of course you would not know why it wouldn't work for "age", but it would be clear if you had the algebraic structure as the rule of three is about multiplication while the relationship between age and years is additive.

Rule of three is a diagrammatic technique for evaluating proportionality and inverse proportionality.
You have that the left and right side are proportional, and a is to b as c is to x, and you want to find x. So you write down
