is forgetfulness sign of a brainlet?

>> No.11160284

The only sign of a brainlet is not living your dream.

typically forgetfulness and sluggishness not associated with a bright mind.
Like anon said, you can fix your diet and sleep to aid this. Work out and cut the mindless phone games too.

Not that you have to cut yourself off from the world and go full Bruce Lee, but start with baby steps and see where it takes you.

Nope. Christopher Langan spoke on this. Those who remember everything have a "trash can" memory, i.e., they retain garbage. If you do not forget trivial material and details, then I pity you. Imagine retaining literal garbage such as "business management principles", or 1080p pornography videos. Inasmuch as Schopenhauer said, bad books poison the mind, so to do superfluous memories, details and experiences. Forgetfulness is like having a good digestive system. The body uses it while it can but eventually it is shitted out into the nothingness it belongs.

op here, i was helping father with collecting wood from forest so we can burn it, while its cold in winter. I grabbed axe to cut down small branches of big branch, i put wood to tractor and i throw away axe not thinking about it. Then i spend 30 minutes looking for axe, i thought i left it where i was cutting wood, but actually i left it just few steps besides tractor. For excuse: i have job interview tomorrow so i was thinking about that, and also about deteriorating health of my mother

not if you remember the first principles and are able to derive everything on the fly from them. that's all anyone ever really needs to remember unless ofc they are a rote-memory-having-only brainlet.

Hope you make it, friend. Gonna be a brutal winter this year. It's like Hitler always said, in Mein Kampf and his speeches, about winter setting in, and the unemployment and abjection it brought about.

all year? i remember tagging along with my father to cut wood when i was younger. we'd cut it in the warmer months and let it dry a year or so.

professional cooking has a basic tenet called 'mise en place', where everything has a place and there is a place for everything. from this most basic organizational technique the cooks learn to expedite orders quickly and efficiently without having to search for x, y or z during service time because through repetition and consistent planning they know where everything they need is because they set up the station the same way every day and always place items back in the designated spot after using them.

Depends on what you are forgetting!
I would be more worried about not forgetting things at all!
