You probably need to take some courses through extension, get good test scores, and work in a relevant job. Dont forget to schmooze with the professors in the program you want to apply to

I don't think you know what it cost to take American education.

I did that in undergrad and still got a 3.98. Still doing it in grad school, so much worse (full blown alcoholic/drug abuser). It's not just the drugs, drugs keep me motivated to do science
I'll be real with you OP, most grad programs have a 3.0 GPA cutoff. You can still apply but you'll be binned before those who have higher

what program? Why did you get a 2.1?

Why would you want to go grad school, which just takes all the actually rigorous, tiring, and frustrating aspects of undergrad and dials them up to 15 while cutting away the fucking around with zero responsibilities, if you clearly were not passionate about school to begin with?

Grad school is tiring, nonstop, stressful, challenging, and will make you feel like a retard who is in over your head every single day. It's not some innate aptitude that will get you through it, it's a passion for what you are doing. A better starting point is asking yourself if you love what you study enough to subject yourself to multiple years of hell trapped with self important narcissists.

i sure hope so, anon

>> No.11099552

Nope. You showed you can't handle academic rigor.

You should focus on likely unpaid internships for getting a job. Most employers will also be unhappy with that GPA without a ton relevant experience.

>> No.11099965

Listen to >>11099552 OP. You're fucked unless you manage to publish or do something amazing. Its OK tho. I had a friend who study physics and got 2.4 gpa. He worked for a call center then suicided after jumping out his apartment window.
