People move to a culturally distinct area. They change what they eat. They start to look different.

They don't have small eyelids, they got fat eyelids. Tis a layer of fat that gives that look, surgery is sorta common, especially in I think Argentina where the Japanese population wants to fit in. Might be be Chile, for some reason I always mix up Argentina and Chile.
