ORANGE ROCKET BAD

we'll never know if it's bad because it will never fly.

SLS is a hoax by NASA.

>>11067114
This. How can a fake rocket fly? It doesn't.

>> No.11067419

orange rocket isnt inherently bad, it's just that particular project design is a shitshow.

IDK seems like it's inherently bad to me. It's just a big ole rockit, where's any sort of innovation? Seems like a clear step down from the shuttle. Hell, it's even got the shuttle's engines which are made with re-usability in mind, except not reusable lol.

TBF the RS-25s needed so much refurbishment that buying new expendable engines would've been cheaper.

Nothing is a step down from the trouble shuttle.

SLS is the largest most powerful rocket and the only real heavy lift currently being developed that can take people beyond low earth orbit.

How is that monumental achievement bad?

It's literally being built with pocket change compared to the black hole for money that is the military.

Starship and New Glenn would like a word with you.

$2 billion per launch is monumentally bad indeed. The whole project is obsolete and a mere pork.

>ORANGE ROCKET BAD

Orange rocket would be relevant in the 60s maybe, but even Saturn V was better.

It is criminally negligent to design something like SLS in 21st century. Hydrogen even on the first stage? Solid fucking boosters? No reusability at all? Launch rate of 0.5 per year? No orbital refueling or propellant depots?

A fucking average 12 year old would do a better deep space architecture than that.
