Try not changing your diet, except for trading soda for water, in the beginning. Start doing yoga, once a week. then twice a week. then start jogging daily for 20min, while still doing yoga multiple times per week. The only change to your diet so far should be increased water intake.

Now start eating an apple or an orange, every day. You'll start feeling better, more clear-headed, more emotionally stable. Then see a dietitian, and maybe a personal trainer if your goal is physical fitness. if your goal is just better health, slow changes every day is your best bet.

If humans could only survive 3 hours between meals we would have died out long ago. Fasting reduces insulin sensitivity and improves immune function through autophagy. those two basic facts will make you like longer and healthier. It isn't pseudoscience either; Yoshinori Ohsumi was awarded a Nobel prize for his research on fasting. Just stop eating for a bit and you'll be fine. Body fat is food too.

If you struggle with the diet side of things, try exercising more. Ride a bike or pick up a sport maybe if you got friends. Carbohydrates in general are OK.

fellow comfort eater here. fasting does not work, you will just rebound and binge. There are no easy solutions, I only lost weight when I made more money and recently my business has flatlined and I have gained weight again. I will say that taking up a hobby helps. If you lack character to do it by willpower alone, like me, just start counting the calories you eat and ensure you burn more than that if you wanna lose weight.

I got myself an exercise bike and if I ate some snack I just looked at the package of how many calories I consumed then I jumped on the bike and burned it away.
Soon you will realize having to sweat like a pig for 30 minutes for eating something that you gulped down in a minute or two isn't a worthwhile trade.
You'll be 'redpilled' real fast as to what the comfortable option is once you start tracking your intake this way.

As someone that was obese from age 8-22 and lost his weight let me tell you how I did it.

It was extremely easy. I just stopped eating altogether. Yeah no dieting. Just not eat at all.

It only took 2 months of not eating and exclusively drinking water for me to be in the healthy weight range.

The first week is suffering but somehow after a while your body starts switching to burning fat and stops whining. Due to you losing weight you'll actually start to feel better despite of literally starving yourself. You'll start to feel stronger and healthier every day.

It also helps in the fact that your stomach starts shrinking so I was full after only half a meal a day after the 2 month period.

After I was skinny I started to fix my sleeping cycle by setting the alarm clock at 7 AM every single day (even days off) and forcing myself to wake up at that time. After about a year of doing that my body just synced with 7 AM waking time even during the weekends.

After this I started to pack gym clothes with me so that after work I'd always go to the gym for a hour before going into the store. First driving but eventually switching to a bicycle and getting food for the day to cook for me as diner.

I also switched to making my own sandwiches and stuffing them into the freezer to take with me to work. By the time it's lunch time the frozen sandwiches have thawed out and fresh.

I'm 30 now but I look younger than when I was 19 and it genuinely helped in life. People are nicer to me and I make more progress at my job.

It's unfair but people subconsciously genuinely treat you based on your appearance. If you look healthy and outgoing people will perceive you as a nicer person and in turn also treat you better.

Hope you fix yourself anon. The only hard step is starting your journey. I highly recommend starving yourself like this. Because it's easier to not eat anything at all rather than eating a little bit and tempting yourself to "make an exception for the day".

dude exercise for muscle bulk is super quick and efficient. even if you just do it a little. best part about it is just sitting around because moving hurts and its actually the most productive thing you could be doing to make your body heal. Don't fall for the a-holes that say 3 times a day 5 days a week or some shit.
