I don't actually believe there is serious preference for shaved over trimmed/well groomed pubic hair for women. The problem with those kinds of assumptions is that they are usually derived from small samples taken from porn sites, online surveys and unrepresentative age groups or social demographics. Face, figure, morphological harmony, target range for size of secondary sexual characteristics are probably more important than anything else.
