Yeah, it's an actual term in biology. It refers to nutrients an organism needs to function properly, but only in minute amounts (iron, zinc etc.).

Consuming more than needed doesn't make much sense, but if Norks have a widespread deficiency of some trace elements, it could make them live longer, on average.

There's only around 10-15 microelements in the first place, so unless NK biology is wired differently then usual, needing plutonium in their bloodstream to function or something, the message is a bit erroneous.

Overblowing own achievements for propaganda purposes aside, the North Korean diet is probably poor enough to lead to multiple microelement deficiencies, which a mass produced supplement of sort could help fix.

Fags laughing on /sci/ don't know shit about anything though, so they just laugh.
