Then go out there and try. Admit to yourself that you can't just jump into a subject as a master of it. Start with the basics of it and slowly work your way up. Don't be afraid to ask stupid questions. Push yourself to learn more. Tie it with a hobby for extra motivation. It'll be slow, but worth it...

...ooooor you can just stay at home, wallow in your ignorance, and veg out every day to random shit you find on your square-headed friend. Your choice.

>taking calc 3, dif eq, and linear alg all simultaneously
>struggling hard in linear alg
what is this? why does everyone say its easy? why cant i get it? why do people find it easy but calc 3 hard?
there was a bitch in my calc 3 (PLEASE NOTE: this woman was in calculus 3, meaning, presumably, that she passed pre calculus, calculus 1 AND calculus 2 with a C or better) and this bitch could not, after the professor stared her down for a solid 90 seconds (in disbelief, no doubt), tell the professor with the integral of dx was
how the fuck can people like that find lin al easy when im busting my asshole? is it some cruel prank?

Linear algebra was the subject that ended more careers than any other subject in my university (Germany). It is hard, but it's being used to select the best students. So just fight your way through it.

i struggled hard in lin alg for the first 2 weeks. Then it suddenly clicked and i got the best grade in a class of 70. Do you understand the concept of linear independence? Do you understand why Guassian elimination makes sense? Once u get these two down (which shouldnt be too hard, these are much simpler than calculus concepts such as limits and derivatives and integrals, ESPECIALLY at a theoretical level) everything will be straightforward. Also, the begining of calc 3 is easy, but just u wait till the end. It gets really hard at the end

Yeah im the same guy who posted about being the top dog in a large linear algebra class. Same case with Calc III. Now in my upper level classes im the dunce of the class who cant even integrate dx. Unless ur a god ur just gonna fall off at some point. Well maybe in my case its because I became an alcoholic for over a year, but i think thats just me coping.

I'd watch 3blue1brown's series on linear algebra. The geometric interpretation of linear algebra makes the whole subject feel very intuitive to me.

If nothing else, the animation is pretty.

I see this mentality all the time on 4chan but never irl at uni. Do you guys just have shitty time management or are you constantly studying? I don’t get how you don’t have at least some free time to pursue a hobby or two.

Music theory is the Rosetta stone of mathematics.
Musicians aren't typically mathematicians.
Mathematicians aren't typically musicians.
It's a beautiful, unexplored gray area of science linking maths, psychology, history, physics, engineering, electronics , the whole deal.

It's very hard, steep learning curve, takes years, very frustrating.
But very rewarding.

Also learn how to draw, visualisation is a big part of science and problem solving.
