Something impairs your sleep quality. Find the reason and adjust accordingly. You need 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and something that you're interested in during the day to motivate you intrinsically.

Lies. Interrupted sleep (2 blocks) is a thing and it's healthy.

Wrong. It's not unhealthy, but also not optimal. Especially if you need to regenerate from physical or psychological strain (which OP seems to suffer from), 7-8 hours uninterrupted sleep is the only solution.

Your body reacts to everything you put in it. Chances are, like most people, there's just a small little hiccup in your diet/habits/attitude. Everything is correlated. Stress leads to a need for a stress reliever. Something as small as a donut or coffee. It's the stress that's the more important thing to focus on. No stress=more ability to refrain from junk food eating or caffeine consumption or alcoholism a bit too much weed or what have you. Not being fulfilled in life is an obvious culprit as well.

Sleep 7:30 hours instead. Ideally you should be sleeping for a multiple of 1:30 hours (e.g. 6:00, 7:30, 9:00), since this is the amount of time it takes to finish cycling between all the stages of sleep. The reason why you're tired when you wake up with 8 hours is that you're waking up in the middle of deep sleep since you're 30 minutes into the next sleep cycle after 7:30 hours.

Get earplugs so you can sleep quietly. Make sure your room is properly ventilated and you get enough fresh air. Drink only water in the morning and at least 2 liters of it throughout the day, not carbonated water though. Take a look at your diet to see if you're lacking any nutrients from what you eat. Don't sit around all day, you don't need to do sports but at least go for a walk an hour or so. Accumulated stress can make you feel tired too.

For example there was a time i was always tired because i felt "cramped" living in a shared appartment, i felt like i was lacking privacy and couldn't find peace and felt bothered all the time. Once i moved into my own apartment, that feeling was gone and i slept like a baby.

how is your posture? forward neck, rouunded shoulders can obstruct the pathway when you sleep and cause sleep apnea.

What is your sleeping position? on your back means your tongue can fall to the back of your throat and obstruct breathing passage. you need to sleep on your side.

Are you overweight? do you have a strong core? are you muscular or underweight? All these things can cause sleep apnea. This is most likely the cause imo.

Get a fitbit or something and track your sleep to diagnose what's going on. Sleep apnea if left untreated can cause brain damage after a few years because of oxygen deprivation.

>It is estimated that 8% of Americans suffer from sleep apnea, with 80 percent of the cases of moderate and severe obstructive sleep apnea undiagnosed.

also people have optimal sleep periods.
i.e. if you are not a "morning person" then waking up at 6 a.m. (even if you get 8 hours and sleep at 10 p.m) will still leave you feeling groggy.

light exercise, plenty of sun, less electronic screen time (especially before bed - read instead), no drugs, cut out all refined sugar, fix your posture, only drink water, homecook all your meals, meditate once a day, yoga once a day, fish every three days.

If you dont see an improvement after 3 weeks i dont know what to say. You obviously have a severe medical condition - unlikely though.

Absolutely do not take sleeping pills or any other drugs, and avoid vitamin pills too.

Lift weights in the morning. U cant do it everyday if ur not in lifting shape however. Within 2-3 weeks ull probably be able to lift every morning (different splits). Once u become experienced u may be able to lift twice a day depending on body type (im small af (125 lbs before i started lifting) so my muscles recover super fast). I generally wake up with a headache and tired, go to lift, get a huge burst of energy, go throughout my day, start to get tired again in the evening, lift again, huge burst, then get tired then sleep and repeat. I think its way easier to focus on math after exercising. Also make sure all ur meals are healthy and listen to food pyramid. Count calories, macros, and servings if u must. If u actually listen to me, DO YOUR RESEARCH to make a basis of your routine then adjust it based on personal observations (there is no objecively best routine as our bodies are way different).
