it eventually runs out of water. There is the idea of the downdraft tower which is basically a way you can scale up a drinking bird to generate a pretty good amount of power using freshwater in hot dry regions. Except freshwater is often hard to obtain in hot dry humid regions.

Hydrosonic water heater uses cavitation and can achieve over 100% efficiency by converting mechanical/electrical energy into thermal energy.

Why can't we use that thermal energy, convert it back into mechanical/electrical, and power the device? perpetual motion, at least till the bearings wear out or the device rusts

Some modification of this bullshit

But seriously as long as you have something to start the initial motion wouldn't rotating magnets work?

A vacuum torus, airtight, with a single helium nucleus whirling around inside propelled by and kept from colliding with the sides by external EM wave emitters. Unless I am a fucking idiot and EM waves don't exert force on particles or the waves won't penetrate the outer rim of the torus it should work.

it's been 100% confirmed by physicists to have over 100% efficiency.

They say it isn't "over unity" even though it's over 100% efficiency but I don't understand why. Something to do with orders of energy.

perform electrolysis at the bottom of the ocean, and use the bubling gas to power a turbine. Capture the hydrogen at the surface, and run it through a very tall tower into the atomsphere. Convert the hydrogen back into water at the top of the tower, using a fuel cell or turbine. Then use the falling water to power another turbine at the bottom of the tower. I did the math a while back, and I think it would be energy producing on a planet like Jupiter.

General Relativity breaks time symmetry; there's clearly a future where the universe expands into nothing, or in other words energy is not conserved.

Energy can be destroyed, and along the same lines, can probably also be made.

You can't have a perfect orbit, orbits always decay slowly.

This question needs more definition.
Perpetual is impossible as the solar system has a lifespan,
Like a solar panel in the sunlight, floating in space is a "perpetual motion " machine.
A stirling engine, using the temp differential of day and night.
A crystal radio tuned to the Schumann resonance frequency
Etc
