Engineering (mech and chemical) is the most difficult subject at undergraduate level and there is NOTHING you can do about that fact of reality. Accept it or COPE.

Dude, you're embarassing all of us engineers

ChemEng maybe, but certainly not mech. Cope harder

Maybe, but that quickly flies out the window in grad school.

If you choose your career based on how hard it is, and unironically expect to enjoy your job after your graduate, you are going to have a really, really bad time.

Through a program at my old high school I have been in an internship since August instead of going straight to college. Would engineering actually be a difficult field to get into? I live in California

maybe, you see I only want to know enough math so I can dabble in my own homemade engineering on my own time

Aerospace is MechE+ so this is already invalid.

Civil engineering is fun.
Big buildings and pretty geometry :)
